Travel on I-79 South towards Pittsburgh. Continue to merge left onto I-279 South. Take Exit 2A to merge onto I-579 South (Veterans Bridge). Take the 7th Avenue exit. Building is at the corner of Smithfield Street and 7th Avenue on the right.
Travel on I-79 North and take exit 59A to merge onto I-376 East towards Pittsburgh and follow to the Fort Pitt Tunnel and Bridge. At the end of the Fort Pitt Bridge, take the Boulevard of the Allies/Liberty Avenue exit. Stay straight to proceed onto Liberty Avenue. Turn slight right onto Seventh Avenue. Building is in the second block at the corner of Smithfield Street and Seventh Avenue on the left.
From east/PA Turnpike
Take the Pittsburgh Exit 57 and merge onto Route I-376 West/US-22 West. Take the Grant Street exit, on the left. Turn slight right onto Grant Street and follow to 7th Avenue. Turn left onto Seventh Avenue. The building is located in the second block on the right.
From west (airport and/or Parkway West)
Travel on Route I-376 East towards Pittsburgh. Follow to the Fort Pitt Tunnel and Bridge. At the end of the Fort Pitt Bridge, take the Boulevard of the Allies/Liberty Avenue exit. Stay straight to proceed onto Liberty Avenue. Turn slight right onto Liberty Avenue. Building is in the second block at the corner of Smithfield Street and Seventh Avenue on the left.
There are numerous parking garages and lots near the Pittsburgh Test Center. Please note, however, that parking validation is not provided at any location. This office is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Generally, testing is offered four days each week.
A message will be displayed on the
home page of the Office of Administration website if testing is cancelled. If "all agencies under the Governor's jurisdiction" in Pittsburgh are closed or delayed due to inclement weather or other authorized reasons, then testing will be cancelled or delayed for that day. If testing is cancelled, or if you decide that your local road conditions make it unsafe to travel, you can reschedule your test date by logging in to Online Services.
