County Caseworkers provide services and assistance to clients and families, protect individuals from physical and emotional neglect and abuse, and formulate and implement social plans of action.
County Caseworkers have a great impact on the lives of their clients. As a caseworker, you would be making a real difference in your community, as well as gaining the experience needed to advance your career.
There are two parts to the application process for county caseworkers. First, you must apply to an online exam and receive a score. Once you receive your score, you may apply to as many applicable vacancies as you wish, prior to the expiration of your score.
In order to be considered for a County Caseworker vacancy, you must first apply to the exam posting, complete that application, and receive a score. Completing the application for the exam posting itself does not count as an application to a vacancy.

The County Caseworker 1 Exam requires applicants to attach a college transcript, so make sure to have one available.

After you upload your resume, double-check that each field of the application transferred correctly. After updating each section of the application, click "Save" to move to the next section.

Job seekers must meet the required minimum experience and training as indicated on the posting in order to be considered for the job. If you believe you qualify, you will need to provide as much detail as possible about your relative job duties to ensure you qualify for the job.
You can choose to add additional skills to your application, such as proficiency with Adobe products or knowledge of another language.
Make sure to attach a college transcript, as it is required for this application. Any attachments will be verified by evaluation staff to ensure you meet the requirements and/or have included the appropriate information.

Note: If your qualifying education was obtained outside of the United States, you will need to provide documentation prepared by a professional foreign credentials evaluation organization.
The supplemental questions at the end of this application are considered an exam. They are designed to give you the opportunity to relate your experience and training background to the major activities, or work behaviors, performed in the position.
All answers to supplemental questions will be verified by evaluation staff to ensure the applicant has the identified experience and training.

Once you've received your exam score, feel free to apply to any applicable County Caseworker vacancies.
Use the search bar at the top of the open jobs website to find open County Caseworker vacancies. Make sure to include C&Y for Children and Youth caseworker vacancies, or MH/ID for Mental Health/Intellectual Disability caseworker vacancies.
